Patrick Javillier Meurs Tillets

Les Tillets is an extremity of Meursault, planted on brown limestone soils patched with clay and hard limestone. The six parcels which make up this wine are of varying ages, all between 30-70 years old. The wine has a characteristic bouquet with overtones of white flowers, white and yellow fruit, and a slight spicy note. On the whole complex and very elegant.
In the palate it is full-bodied, vigorous, and mineral-driven with a fine aromatic freshness.
A delicate wine, it has a long finish and a certain underlying robustness. Its style may be described as between a classic Meursault and a typical Puligny-Montrachet.
